The evolving mobility demands of users across Africa means that mobility concepts must be developed in relation to their intended use in cities and rural areas. It should also cater to the preference of individuals from all circles.

Marginal utility is the guiding element for a person’s mobility decision. For instance, if you had to choose how to commute to work, you would most likely choose the quickest, safest, most affordable, and most pleasant method of transportation available at the time.

When you choose environmentally friendly solutions, these decisions and options become more exciting.

The current mobility landscape is such that those providers who rethink user-friendliness, offer personalized customer services and business models, can achieve an ecosystem that is typified by deeper connections with users. MAX’s product development is guided by this philosophy.

Planet Friendly Mobility

Overcrowding, air pollution, and CO2 emissions in urban and metropolitan regions are among the most pressing issues we face today, particularly as the population of people living in cities continues to rise. It is therefore important to provide people with mobility options in terms of how they move, while enhancing air quality, and minimizing individual carbon footprints.

At MAX we take this to heart. We seek to make all types of transportation accessible, and support a move toward more environmentally friendly modes of transportation.

We do this by keeping user and market demands in mind throughout the development process. We collaborate across disciplines to enhance our products to give consumers pleasant mobility experiences.

Mobility Experiences Drivers Can Also Enjoy

Importantly, we also ensure that drivers are given the tools as well as the assistance needed to function with ease and comfort.

A while back, we set up our systems to receive 100% of remittance payments from our Champions (Two-wheeler & tuk-tuk drivers), digitally.

This was done as part of our efforts to boost driver efficiency. This was previously unprecedented within the African mobility space, with a major percentage of African commercial drivers being financially and digitally disenfranchised.

MAX Champions also receive high-quality automobiles with which to work and please clients, as well as placement in premier training and digital learning programs, health insurance for themselves and their families, and vehicle insurance.

These initiatives as well as others were created with the express desire to suit the drivers’ needs.

Easy Car Payments

We didn’t want intending car owners to have to wait until they had saved up enough money to buy a vehicle, which is why we set up our auto finance programs.

We discovered that customers were concerned about their money, so making an outright automobile purchase became less enticing.” Instead, they would prefer to lease the automobile. As a result, we created simple payment plans with high-performing vehicles.

With added benefits such as Free Vehicle Papers/Registration, Registration on the Bolt Platform, Free Monthly Maintenance, Free Healthcare, and Multi-Year Warranty, the car owner can be more productive thanks to the ease of ownership, welfare support, and the car being in pristine condition for an extended period.

Designing Products For Rural Areas

We also give mobility in rural areas special attention. This means that factors such as lower financial capacities, deplorable terrains, and specific use cases, are all considered, to design products that can serve efficiently and keep costs down.

Many rural business owners are already forced to spend significant sums of money on transportation, which hurts their bottom line. Finding low-cost transportation solutions that meet the demands of rural residents has never been more vital.

After extensive research, we found that green, sustainable mobility could potentially alleviate this problem in the long run while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the internal combustion engines that rural enterprises were forced to employ.

Africa’s Unique Mobility Ecosystem

Every large African city faces difficulties in establishing a safe, dependable, and affordable mobility system. Over time, modes of mobility have altered greatly, owing largely to the ever-changing industrial revolutions. The new season in mobility has ushered in a movement that is transforming urban transportation as we know it today.

Africa has one of the fastest urbanization rates of any continent, and with all the different changing cycles, mobility needs are even more varied than before.

MAX’s goal is to create a mobility core that can meet short-term and long-term demand, so African cities, as well as rural areas, can realize their potential. We provide environmentally friendly modes of transportation, facilitated by innovation, new transportation infrastructure, technology, and the desire to put the needs of the eventual users first.
