How the MAXe Series is changing the future of electric mobility in Nigeria

In Nigeria, though electric vehicles have not gained much popularity, the country can create sustainable electric transportation frameworks powered by renewable energy.

Metro Africa Xpress (MAX) is at the forefront of providing safe tech mobility solutions to the persistent problems facing the transportation system in not only in Nigeria but also in other cities in Africa.

At MAX, we have successfully transformed a combustion engine motorcycle into an electric motorcycle. This was achieved by first removing combustion engine components of the motorcycle, then carefully wiring together the other components of the motorcycle prior to assembling it, giving birth to the MAXe Series.

Reasons why the MAXe series is beneficial

Air pollution caused by emissions from combustion engines is of immense concern in Nigeria. MAXe has provided the solution to that problem by drastically reducing these emissions.

The MAXe series is also cost-effective, electricity is less expensive than gasoline and Electric Vehicles (EVs) are more efficient than gasoline vehicles. Maintenance costs are lower compared to the combustion engine motorcycle.

Noise pollution is also eliminated.

Electric motorcycles are very sustainable in Nigeria and Africa because of the available solar-powered charging infrastructure and battery swap technology. MAX is partnering with high-level energy and power supply stakeholders to build charging and battery swap stations across cities in Nigeria. Riders can now simply drive into our charging stations to swap their batteries.

The revolution of Nigeria’s electric mobility has begun through the MAXe series and the future of mobility is about to change.
