MAXOkada appreciates its Champions: Hosts a fun-filled day and bike-washing rally.

MAXOkada celebrated its formidable Champions on Saturday, August 17. Employees came out in numbers as they treated the Champions to a day of fun and entertainment. The event kicked off with a Town Hall meeting, as employees took turns to wash bikes of all Champions present concurrently, ending with an atmosphere of great music and lots to enjoy.

In celebrating 4 years of operations in Nigeria starting with the city of Lagos, recently Akure and counting. The pioneer moto-taxi hailing service not only empowers Nigerians while providing financial inclusion for its riders but also places their development and welfare as a priority.

In addition to inclusive insurance, regular training and, best operational support each Champion enjoys, The MAX Champions appreciation day set out to look into the wellness of Champions, addressing key issues that affected their safety particularly, with some touch-points on their grooming.

Speaking at Town Hall, Ronke from the driver productivity team shared, ‘It has been an amazing ride, there have been challenges but together we’ve found ways to make the ride worth it. We have stayed committed to our value proposition and you(Champions) have shown a consistent improvement through processes MAXOkada have put in place. You have shown resilience to succeed. CEO and Founder, Tayo Bamiduro rounded up Town Hall by saying, “Saying thanks to the Champions goes a long way”, adding that “sometimes these events do more to bolster morale than should be seen as a bonus. Showing appreciation for a job well done is a motivating factor.”

During the bike washing rally, staff could be seen in high spirits, a testament to the family Champions have become.

Nelson, Speaking on behalf of the Champions, said, “This is a great idea. Great for morale, and certainly a way to foster our bond. It gets more interesting with MAX”.
