MAX champions (drivers) enjoy a certain place within the MAX community, which is that everything revolves around them. One could say MAX exists to make MAX drivers the best versions of themselves. With well over 10,000 drivers now subscribed to MAX’s platform, it’s safe to bet that we are doing something right.

A problem we chose to solve at MAX was to ensure that our drivers become the standard for efficiency, professionalism, customer satisfaction, and safety.

We wanted the average commuter to see a driver with our insignia and instantly think about great travel experiences. This would only happen if we could indeed provide those experiences through our drivers.

Picture this:

The sun is out, the city bustles, and beautiful people from all over the country set out to carry out their activities in their usual fashion. You take in the scenery, mentally waving at the stops and landmarks you see on your daily commute. Only this time you can take in the experience with the wind in your face, You weave through traffic because your driver, who knows all the nooks and crannies of the city streets, not only cares about your safety and well-being but also cares about your arrival time. Every trip is a delight, because now… the town is yours.

The plan was and still is to provide everything the champion needs to stand out among the pack and live an enriched life.

This led to designing a system where the Champion could have:

  1. A New Vehicle with Zero Upfront Payment, (access is given to the Champion to start riding one of the numerous vehicles available at MAX with zero upfront payment or collateral).
  2. Flexible Working Hours, so the Champion gets to work at whatever time works best. This would also leave time for other pursuits.
  3. Free World-Class Training- the MAX program includes proper safety and driver skill development.
  4. 24/7 Support- there’s an active support centre that works round the clock to provide prompt on-the-job assistance to all champions when they need it.

What made you join MAX?

“Someone introduced MAX to me, I was so amazed about the package they offered. Then they are giving out KeKe, but they are also concerned about the welfare of the champions”.

What have you benefited from MAX?

“A lot. First, their swift response to champions’ complaints. If there’s a complaint from a champion, their officers pay you a visit to know what is happening and how to solve the problem”.

“And secondly, their welfare. I registered my family on their HMO as well. if one of my children falls sick, I call them, and they give me a PIN to use immediately”.

How has your life changed since you joined MAX?

“Well, my income changed very well, with MAX you can still have enough to save”.

MAX has been and will always be there for its Champions. The family is still growing and with MAX in the driver’s seat, Africa’s mobility future looks more promising than ever.
