This lovely attraction was named after Captain Robert Lister Bower, who was commissioned by the British Government to be at the helm of affairs in Ibadan between 1893 and 1897. The tower is 60 feet tall and 11 feet square, with two entrances and a spiral stairway to the top. It is positioned on the crest of Oke-Are, Ibadan’s tallest hill, and offers a spectacular view of the city.
The Ibadan Zoological Gardens

The University of Ibadan Zoological Gardens began in 1948 as a menagerie to help teaching and research before becoming a full-fledged zoo in 1974. The zoo is home to a diverse collection of creatures, including mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. The zoo is open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., all year. You can always be sure to enjoy a tour when you come around.
Mapo Hall

It is a huge colonial-style city hall that crowns Mapo hill. The hall took almost four years to build and was eventually ready for use in 1929. The hall was built to meet the administrative requirements of the colonial era. The hall is well-known for its seven halls, which symbolise the seven hills on which Ibadan is built.
Agodi Gardens

Agodi Gardens located at the foot of Old Mokola Hill was once known as the Agodi Zoological and Botanical Gardens, which opened in 1967.
This location, also known as the Agodi Botanical Gardens, is an amazing flora enclave in the heart of Ibadan. The tranquil and beautiful landscape features a little zoo, lush gardens with various sorts of plants, and water parks. Agodi Gardens is also a popular destination for nature lovers, garden parties, outdoor events, concerts, and even weddings.

The National Museum of Unity
