For several years now, Metro Africa Xpress has been empowering young Africans with skills, resources, and equipment to forge economically sustainable lives for themselves and their families.

Recently, MAX celebrated its entry into West Africa’s Gold Coast — the nation of Ghana. This signals a further push for the gospel of electric mobility across different borders within Africa. In a recent video post shared on the company’s Instagram account, a group of new Champions is seen donning their newly acquired M3 motorcycles.

The M3 motorcycle is Africa’s most technologically advanced and sustainable two-wheeler. These bikes, in the coming days, will serve as a critical resource to get these young men ahead in their respective lives.

Recently, MAX sponsored an AI and futuristic technology program at the University of Ibadan. This is part of MAX’s effort to empower the next generation of innovators.

In addition, the e-mobility giant launched a subscription platform to enable an easier way of living among her current and prospective champions. This is perhaps a result of the predicted trend in the scale of subscription-model-based services and the buy-now-pay-later trend.

Globally, several countries currently battle inflation and a blatant hike in the cost of living. MAX’s adoption of this model bridges the gap for individuals who cannot afford to make outright purchases of the company’s unique vehicles but require these vehicles to forge a living.

Samuel Michael, a current champion based in the South-Western capital of the Old Oyo Empire, Ibadan, shared with the MAX team, the impact of the MAX subscription and champion-based model.

These are his words:

I am very thankful to MAX for having us. Because if not for MAX, people would have been walking on the streets with nothing. But, you also look at it. A lot of people are living well today. So, I want to say thank you, MAX for helping us today in Ibadan… I only remit 1,350 NGN daily, excluding the weekends.”

As a faucet of empowerment, the MAX Champion model offers these champions short-term mobility solutions, better alternatives, and lower vehicle expenses among its drivers.

Concurrently, financial innovation services are currently underway to foster financial literacy and intelligence among MAX Champions. According to the company, some of these initiatives will be brought to light soon.

From fostering budding talent among future generations to equipping current champions with skills and resources and also developing better methods to ensure financial security for its riders, Metro Africa Xpress Inc. is unveiling a new face of empowerment that should be replicated by organizations with a keen sense of communal development and responsibility.
